New York Style Pizza Dough (Cold Rise)

  • Total time: 24 Hours
  • Servings: 3 Dough Balls

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Bread Flour
  • 1 1/2 Cups Warm Water
  • 1/2 tsp Instant Dry Yeast
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 4 tsp Olive Oil

Directions

  • 1)

Add water, flour, yeast, and salt together in a large bowl. Don’t add the oil yet. You want the flour to hydrate first before adding oil.

  • 2)

Mix the dough until most of the flour is incorporated.

  • 3)

Add the oil and knead your dough for 10 minutes.

  • 4)

Cover dough and let it rise for 45 minutes to an hour.

  • 5)

Divide the dough into 3 pieces and round into balls. Wipe the dough balls with oil or cooking spray.

  • 6)

Place the dough balls in airtight containers and place in fridge for 12-24 hours (up to 4 or 5 days).

  • 7)

Remove from fridge and let come to room temperature before using (about an hour or two).
