Mormon Tiramisù

  • Servings: 6-8 Servings

Ingredients

  • 6 Eggs, separated
  • 3 Tbsp Sugar
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 16 oz (approx. 500g) Mascarpone
  • 40 Savoiardi (Ladyfinger) Cookies
  • 2 1/2 Cups Chocolate Milk
  • Nestle Quick Powder or cocoa, for dusting
  • 1 Chocolate Bar

Directions

  • 1)

    Beat egg whites. After they’re fluffy, add sugar and salt.

  • 2)

    Mix egg yolks and mascarpone.

  • 3)

    Mix whites and mascarpone mix together.

  • 4)

    Dip half of the cookies in chocolate milk for 3 seconds and place them in a 9×13 pan in one layer.

  • 5)

    Pour just enough of mascarpone mix over cookies to cover them (a little less than half).

  • 6)

    Dip the remaining cookies in chocolate milk and place them in the pan in a second layer.

  • 7)

    Cover with the remaining mascarpone mix.

  • 8)

    On the top, dust evenly with Nestle Quick powder or cocoa.

  • 9)

    Put in fridge and let sit overnight (or longer).

  • 10)

    Just before serving, grate chocolate bar over top.
