Mom's Popovers

  • Total time: 1 Hour
  • Servings: 1 Dozen

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Butter, melted

Directions

  • 1)

    Stir together flour and salt. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly. Add melted butter.

  • 2)

    Beat eggs until foamy and add to mix. Beat 2 minutes.

  • 3)

    Fill hot, greased muffin tins 2/3 full.

  • 4)

    Bake 450°F for 15 minutes, then reduce to 350°F for 10-15 minutes.

  • 5)

    Serve hot with some kind of creamed vegetable or meat (fish) or butter or gravy.

These are also known as Yorkshire Pudding.
