Josh’s Chocolate Chip Cookies

Favorite cookie recipe from Josh and Angela Jensen. They make their cookies large (they estimated that they use a size 20 scoop).

Josh's Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • Total time: 1 Hour
  • Servings: 3-4 Dozen

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup White Sugar
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Cup Margarine, cold (do not use butter)
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 3 Cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 Cups Semisweet Chocolate Chips

Directions

    Cream together the sugars and margarine.

  • 2)

    Add eggs one at a time while mixing, along with vanilla.

  • 3)

    In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda and salt.

  • 4)

    Add flour mixture to wet ingredients in 3-5 batches.

  • 5)

    Mix in chocolate chips.

  • 6)

    Chill dough for at least 30 minutes before baking. Bake one tray at at time, and keep unused dough in fridge until right before using.

    Bake at 350°F for 10-15 minutes (depending on the size of your cookies), until just starting to get golden around the edges.
