Easy Homemade Tortillas
- Total time: 30 Minutes
- Servings: 8-10 Tortillas
Ingredients
- 2 Cups All Purpose Flour
- 2/3 Cup Warm Water
- 1 tsp Salt
- 5 Tbsp Butter, melted
Directions

Dissolve the salt in the warm water.
- 2)
Pour the melted butter into the flour and mix until thoroughly combined, then add the salted water to the flour and butter mixture and mix until a dough forms.
- 3)
Knead the dough for 2-3 minutes until it’s smooth, then form it into a ball and let it rest for at least 15 minutes or up to several hours.
- 4)
Divide the dough into 8-10 portions and roll them into little balls then roll out the balls as flat as you’re able to make them and set them in a stack with wax paper or parchment paper between them.
- 5)
Heat up a cast iron or nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Should be quite hot but not too hot. Place the tortillas one at a time in the dry skillet (no oil or butter) and cook each side about 30 seconds until it starts to brown. Enjoy!
