Ingredients

Topping:

  • 2 Cups Old-Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 Cup Light-Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Coarse Salt
  • 1 Stick Unsalted Butter, melted

Filling:

  • 4 lbs (about 9) Sweet Apples, such as Braeburn, McIntosh, or Gala, peeled, cored, and cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 1/2 Cup Light-Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Dried Cherries (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon

Directions

  • 1)

Topping: Preheat oven to 375°F. Pulse 1 cup oats in a food processor until coarsely ground. Transfer to a bowl and add remaining cup oats, brown sugar, salt, and butter. Stir until combined.

Filling: Toss together filling ingredients in a bowl and transfer to a 9×13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with topping.
