Blueberry Pie

Ingredients
- 2 Cups Water
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1/3 Cup Berry Red Pie Tone (see note)
- 3 Tbsp Cornstarch
- 1/4 Cup Water
- Dash of Salt
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/8 tsp Cinnamon
- 4 Cups Blueberries, divided
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- Pastry for a double crust 9 inch pie
Directions
Boil water, sugar and 1 cup of blueberries.
Make paste of pie tone, cornstarch, water and salt. Stir into boiling mixture. Cook until thick.
Fold in vanilla, cinnamon and remaining blueberries. Fill bottom crust and dot with butter. Adjust top crust, vent and flute. Put foil strips around edge for half of baking time. Cook at 350°F for 50 minutes.
